Two identical sessions are offered... Tuesday (1/21/25) at 12pm and Wednesday (1/22/25) at 2pm.

This session will equip Staff UID Managers and NCEES District Administrators with the essential tools and knowledge to effectively manage access to the NCEES system. Participants will delve into the intricacies of budget code-based access provisioning, gaining a comprehensive understanding of how permissions are granted or revoked based on data from HR or payroll. Additionally, the session will explore strategies for safeguarding sensitive data by identifying and removing inactive staff accounts. By the end of this session, participants will be empowered to ensure that the right people have the right access at the right time.Target Audience: Staff UID Managers and NCEES District Administrators

Supporting Beginning Teachers (BTs) is essential for their professional growth and retention in the teaching profession. This interactive workshop will guide new HR directors, BT coordinators, and other district and school leaders on effectively using reports in the North Carolina Educator Evaluation System (NCEES) to meet state requirements for BTs and foster meaningful growth.Participants will learn to use observation data and evaluation reports as practical tools to monitor compliance, track progress, and identify targeted growth opportunities for BTs. By mastering these processes, attendees will gain practical strategies to ensure BTs receive constructive feedback, personalized support, and a pathway to professional excellence.Target Audience:This session is designed for HR directors, Beginning Teacher coordinators, school administrators, and other district personnel who support Beginning Teachers.Proposal Justification:This workshop addresses the critical need for structured support and development of Beginning Teachers, aligning with state and district priorities. By equipping participants with the tools to use NCEES effectively, the session empowers districts to not only meet compliance requirements but also build a stronger, more resilient teaching workforce.
