The Digital Learning Initiative Impact Grant is designed to support and enhance digital learning within Public School Units (PSUs) across North Carolina. This grant aims to foster innovation in blended learning, technology integration, data-informed instruction, and personalized learning experiences, helping schools leverage digital tools for transformative education. A critical focus is placed on prioritizing the North Carolina Digital Learning Competencies and Digital Learning Standards for Students. This session will provide a comprehensive look at the Request for Proposals (RFP), covering essential details such as eligibility requirements, timelines, and application guidelines. Attendees will gain insights into the step-by-step process of preparing a successful application, including tips on aligning project goals with grant priorities and showcasing impactful outcomes. We’ll also dive into the practicalities of budget planning and best practices for project design. From understanding allowable expenses to optimizing funding for maximum educational impact, this overview will equip applicants with the tools they need to craft compelling and feasible budgets.
