About me
Ashlee Russell is a seasoned educator from Cumberland County Schools with experience teaching, instructional coaching, and leading district-wide professional development. She has developed and delivered PD in the areas of ELA and for the CCS Teacher AI Cohort. Ashlee owns a company: AI Learning Central, where she provides consulting and support in the area of AI implementation. She designed and delivered the Data Literacy and AI Literacy Curriculum for the first AI integrated unit in the US Army under a contract with Pearson VUE. She has presented at multiple conferences on the topic of AI and is passionate about sharing effective strategies with educators on how to implement AI knowledgeably, ethically, and responsibly in order to maintain human-led interactions and applications. Ashlee is excited for the future, but believes we should approach AI very carefully and mindfully. In her free time, she loves camping and spending time outdoors with her family.
