Ashley Herring is a seasoned Applications Systems Analyst with the Educational Technology Services Team (ETS) at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI), where she focuses on the Every Child Accountability & Tracking System (ECATS).
With over 30 years of experience in North Carolina state government, 18 of which have been spent at the NCDPI, Ashley has extensive expertise in supporting critical reporting systems. She provides technical guidance and is responsible for maintaining the technical integrity and documentation of ECATS. Ashley collaborates closely with module leads, offering technical insight and problem-solving support for the system's ongoing development.
Known for her deep technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, Ashley continues to contribute to the advancement of technology solutions that support North Carolina’s students with special needs and the educators who serve them.
Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in mathematics from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina.
