About me
Darlene is a 25 + year veteran of education and began teaching with North Carolina Virtual Public School as an English teacher and Teacher Leader in 2009. She joined NCVPS full-time in 2015, first as a Curriculum Coordinator and then as an Instructional Designer, a role she has held since July, 2019. Darlene has a passion for virtual learning and its power to reach and connect with all learners. She recently completed her EdD with a concentration in Learning, Design, and Technology at UNC Charlotte and lives in Cornelius, NC with her hubby, Dave and three college-age daughters.
