About me
Sabrina Steigelman is a State E-Rate Coordinator at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. With a background in education, she holds a B.S. in History from Methodist University, a Master of Library Science from East Carolina University, and a Master of School Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.Before joining NCDPI, Sabrina built a diverse career in Cumberland County Schools, where she held multiple roles ranging from bus driver and teacher assistant to district administrator. In her administrative capacity, she managed all school libraries, served as a grant program manager, learning management systems administrator, and district grant writer. Her broad experience in education has equipped her with a deep understanding of the operational and strategic needs of schools and districts.She is passionate about promoting digital equity, educational equity, and influencing educational and public policy. Her commitment to these areas is reflected in her recognition as Fayetteville 40 Under 40 and as Cumberland County Schools Media Coordinator of the Year.
