About me
Sid Lathan is an accomplished educator in North Carolina with a background in Mathematics and Computer Science. He holds a Master's degree in Teaching and Learning with Technology and a Doctorate in Emerging Technologies. Sid's research focuses on the adoption of new technologies in education. Throughout his career, he has taught math and science at various levels and served in leadership roles such as assistant principal and Digital Teaching and Learning Coordinator. Sid believes that while technology is valuable, it is not a substitute for effective teaching. He emphasizes using technology to enhance educational experiences not replace good instruction.
